My something new visual goes hand in hand with my collaborative piece, in which I asked random people the first thing they thought of when I said the phrase “male gaze.” I chose some of the most repeated responses that I got and put them in the collage. There are nine pieces of the collage, each consisting of a different eye. I tried to draw the eyes of some of the people I interviewed and put their correlating response in the iris. I chose to draw eyes because a large piece of the male gaze is the act of looking voyeuristically.
